Exitoso inicio
El grupo de “Amigos del Liceo de Curridabat” se forma en el mes de agosto recién pasado y ha sido un inicio muy exitoso.
Ya hay visibles mejoras en la planta física y zonas verdes aledañas al centro educativo gracias a las actividades de chapia y limpieza que se han realizado. Se inició con una invitación abierta por redes sociales que culminó en una entusiasta participación de estudiantes, personal de Fuerza Pública, profesores, representantes de la nueva Junta del Colegio, miembros del comité de seguridad Hacienda Vieja, ex alumnos, vecinos y amigos del Liceo.
¿Cómo nace este interés?
El grupo de “Amigos del Liceo de Curridabat” nace por la motivación de una lideresa gestora que nos motivó para actuar, hacer “algo más allá” y trabajar de forma voluntaria y con amor por los jóvenes de nuestra comunidad.
Con la creciente ola de violencia que vivimos en nuestro país estas generaciones de jóvenes reciben permanentemente mensajes negativos. Estos jóvenes son actores de una sociedad cada vez más complicada y están expuestos a situaciones de mayor riesgo. Conociendo la problemática actual no podemos ni debemos ser únicamente observadores pasivos.
¿Podemos ser creadores de soluciones? Nuestros jóvenes merecen tener un espacio más seguro y confortable.
No podemos quedarnos de brazos cruzados. Desde la capacidad de cada uno debemos de dar nuestro apoyo a los jóvenes de nuestro país.
Resultados visibles
Hicimos una invitación por redes sociales y agradecemos a los voluntarios que acudieron a nuestro llamado: todo el trabajo que se ha realizado de limpieza, siembra y chapia, el préstamo de la Hidrolavadora y la sopladora han dado resultados visibles en planta física y áreas verdes incluyendo techo y canoas.
Reconocemos y agradecemos también el arreglo de equipo, el aporte económico para adquirir el combustible para las motoguadañas y por el desinteresado aporte realizado para realizar otras actividades de chapia y adquirir materiales para arreglos varios.
Muchos voluntarios también aportaron recursos propios como jabón, plantas, piedras decorativas y otros artículos que facilitaron las actividades de limpieza que se realizaron desde las 8:00 am hasta las 4 de la tarde. También se agradecen los aportes para los refrigerios que fueron muy disfrutados por todos los asistentes.
