San Antonio de Padua, el patrono de la parroquia del centro de Curridabat, tendrá este año una celebración diferente; el turno, las comidas típicas, las mascaradas, la feria del pan y los carruseles tendrán descanso, pero el Santo no se quedará sin celebración.
La Parroquia San Antonio de Padua anunció que para este año la celebración al Santo Patrono tendrá un matiz más espiritual, con celebraciones eucarísticas que llevarán a los feligreses a conocer y a meditar sobre la vida del santo.
“En el marco de la celebración patronal y como parte de la preparación para el festejo de los 450 años de evangelización en nuestro país, todo curridabatense debe conocer y vivir algo de la espiritualidad de San Antonio” dijo el párroco Luis Guillén.
El padre Guillén, quien se echó al hombro el proyecto de restauración del templo, manifestó que “Estamos arreglando el templo, pero, para qué queremos un templo bien bonito, bien ornamentado, bien pintadito, si los templos que somos las personas, los fieles, no estamos limpios y resplandecientes para El Señor, por eso necesitamos preparar el alma”.
Detalló que la fiesta de este año no tendrá el tradicional turno, en cambio, a través de la liturgia se tendrá una oportunidad para conocer y aprender del santo que debe inspirar a los curridabatenses.
Es así como explica que el programa incluirá una peregrinación al Santuario Nacional al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Templo Votivo, en el Barrio Francisco Peralta, además se tendrá la visita de la imagen de Nuestra Señora de la Limpia Concepción del Rescate de Ujarrás; los fieles podrán admirar una Reliquia de Primer Grado de San Antonio de Padua y otra del Padre Pio, y participar de celebraciones eucarísticas con reflexiones sobre distintos temas de la espiritualidad antoniana presididas por diferentes sacerdotes invitados.
El grupo de Teatro Bíblico también tendrá su presentación; tampoco faltará el Pan de San Antonio y para no dejar el deporte de lado, el estadio Lito Monge recibirá al público en un partido de fútbol entre el equipo sacerdotal llamado Las Águilas Negras y la Hermandad de Jesús Nazareno (Soldados Romanos).
